Atonement is another film with a similar theme to ours because of the twist in this however the audience believe that the two main characters 'Robbie' and 'Cecilia' have met many times after something dreadful stopped them from seeing each other and being together and the audience believe that the couple live happily ever after. However it is only at the end you discover that they in fact never met after their separation and didn't live happily ever after but instead they both died. The poster however is helpful because it features the two main characters on the front and shows their separation by the girl who causes them to be separated in the film. I like the fact that in this poster it shows some of the themes of the film and also subtle hints to the plot of the film.
