Alternative ending

This is another of the three alternative endings, this one is the one featured on the storyboard and is probably most suitable. This ending shows a close up of the birthday cake from the last scene using editing effects to fade to the same shot over and over in quick concession the candles will gradually melt thus showing the passing of time and shows neglect of the birthday cake. The advantage of this scene is it looks visually good and leaves the reason for the woman's hallucinations up to the audience, this is one of the aims of our film as it leaves the audience thinking and debating over what they have just watched. A disadvantage of this scene is its relevance as an ending, ending this way it doesn't have a lot to do with the subject of the woman's experiences except to show her age and possible that time is slipping away and made it's to late to have a child this could be one conclusion of the woman's hallucinations drawn by the audience.
